Classroom Expectations
These are my classroom rules, consequences and rewards policies.
In order to provide your child and all students in my class with the comfortable learning environment they deserve, the following discipline plan will be in effect at all times:
Rules
- Follow directions the first time they are given.
- Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
- No teasing or name calling.
- Respect yourself, classmates and the teacher
- Turn homework in on time.
Consequences
If a student chooses to break a rule:
1st time YELLOW - warning
2nd time ORANGE - loss of one recess (detention)
3rd time RED - loss of another recess or activity and a note home to be signed
4th time PURPLE - parent contact and/or sent to the principal's office
Rewards
Students who behave appropriately will be positively rewarded with positive notes home, gold star on the calendar and fun Fridays.
