We love to learn in class!
Everyday we have so much fun! The students in my first grade class will learn at their own pace. We start each day at the calendar as we learn the days of the week, the months of the year and the four seasons. Each student gets a turn to stand in front of the class and talk about the calendar.
After the opening we get right into reading. First graders will also practice writing their letters and learning spelling. In Earth Science class each student will grown their own bean plant. They will learn how to nurture their plant so it grows.
Specials are always fun as they experience art, gym and music. In math class they learn numbers and how to do addition. Everyday is a fun experience. I'm looking forward to Parent-Teacher Conference so I get to know all my students and their families better.
