Mr. Lord and Mrs. Harmer  – 

The PTO and Marysville Elementary have teamed up to help the Marshall County Food Pantry.  This time of year the pantry’s food supply runs low due to the holidays and the cold weather.  Notes were sent home this week with your students about the “Can Your Principals’ Food Drive”  being held December 8 – 12.  The goal is for students to bring items, from the list below, to school to drive the principals out of their offices. 

How will that happen?  When a student brings an item(s) to school for the food drive, the food will be stored in Mr. Lord’s and Mrs. Harmer’s offices until it can be delivered to the food pantry.  We want as much food as it takes so they have no room in their offices.  They will have no choice but to vacate their offices.

Cereals

Hamburger Helper

Soups

Peanut Butter

Jelly

Salad Dressing

Miracle Whip

Jello

Canned Meats – Tuna, Chicken

Spaghetti Sauce

Spaghetti O’s

Cake Mixes/Frosting

Jiffy Mixes

Crackers

Rice-A-Roni

Ketchup

Beans (Not green beans)

Sugar

Flour

(Please do not bring canned vegetables.)
