We've Had a Makeover

SOCS Academy has a new look for this web site.  The purpose of the revision is to make the site more user friendly with frequently updated information for our constituents.  

Some of the new features include the calendar on the right side bar which will give viewers instant access to current activities, three current articles highlighting upcoming events as well as building and classroom activities which will be posted and updated on a regular basis, and links to teachers and their individual pages at each building level.

For easy access to the most visited links, you will see two buttons on top of the home page (Survey and SOCS Lockers). Then under each of the five main sections (District, High School, Middle School, Elementary, Community) you will find links to information specific to the category.  Teachers are easily found by clicking on the corresponding school.  Many teachers also have personalized pages with links to blogs and wikis.

There is a LOT of information embedded in the site and some areas are still works in progress due to the multiple district leaders creating and adding information for their departments.  Please take a little time to click on all the links and familiarize yourself with the new site. Also feel free to make comments/suggestions regarding the new site.
