Communicate With the School Board
New feedback forum added.
April 11, 2007
It is important that community members in the Southern Oaks Community School District be empowered to communicate easily and directly with the Board of Education.
In an effort to enhance the process and give the community a convenient mechanism to express concerns, the administration of Southern Oaks Community School District has set up a feedback forum on the SOCS Web site in the District section of the Web site.
School Board meeting agendas are now posted in the District section of the SOCS Web site in the sub-section Agendas no later than one week before the scheduled meeting. A feedback option is provided at the end of the agenda. The public may comment on the agenda, propose additional agenda items, and comment on the issues to be discussed. The District reserves the right to moderate and approve feedback.
Comments and feedback will be distributed to the School Board members at the meeting. A Community Forum agenda item will be added to the end of every agenda so that the feedback can be discussed.
E-mail the School Board Secretary with questions.
