A Trip to the Black Hills
..it's a beautiful place

This summer I took a trip to the Black Hills. I had never been there before. It was awesome!! I took some picture of my favorites moments. The Needles Highway was one of my favorites.
We took a short hike along a very peaceful little lake. The water was so BLUE. We wanted to have a picnic lunch and sit and dangle our feet in the water but it was cold and windy. �Some people (braver than us, obviously) were fishing. Many others were just walking (quickly), enjoying the serenity. When I go back --- and I definitely intend to go back --- I�m taking a picnic lunch, a good book, and a comfortable chair. Now that�s my idea of heaven on earth.
But the best part of the trip was the rainbows. We saw the most beautiful one on the way there and another on the way home.
The colors were so VIVID. The turquoise was SO turquoise. And the magenta was SO magenta. The yellow SO yellow.
